A Yemeni farmer was killed today after a landmine, left behind by Houthi militias, exploded while he was plowing his field in the village of Nuba Amer, north of Mokha. Local sources reported that the victim, identified as Zaid Haidar Suleiman Halabi, was carrying out routine agricultural work when the device detonated, killing him instantly.
The incident adds to the growing toll of civilian casualties caused by landmines in conflict-affected areas along Yemen’s western coast.
