A security official said, “The deceased were apparently planting the mine in the area to target residents.” Police rushed to the site and shifted the bodies to Sui Hospital. Their identities could not be ascertained till late evening. Security sources said the operatives were burying an underground landmine when it detonated. Following the incident, police and security forces reached the site and launched further investigations.
