Some 100 pounds of homemade explosives and military ordnance and 53 firearms were seized in a search of a home in Bermuda Dunes in the Coachella Valley, the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office said.
Collin Daniel Hackett, 34, was arrested Thursday, Jan. 30, on suspicion of possession and transportation of narcotics for sale and being a felon in possession of a firearm. The location and nature of Hackett’s felony conviction were not available Saturday; he does not have a documented criminal record in Riverside or San Bernardino counties.
Hackett was released Friday after posting $50,000 bail.
