Under the state program to compensate for demining costs, mine-action operators cleared 1,340 hectares of agricultural land in Ukraine in January; the cost of the works amounted to 76.43 million hryvnias.
According to the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, such a volume of work confirms activity in the field of demining agricultural plots. Specifically, during the past month, operators signed 12 agreements on demining agricultural lands, and the average cost of clearing one hectare was 57.1 thousand hryvnias.
