China-Laos Friendship Shield-2024 joint exercise enters adaptive training phase


VIENTIANE, July 8 — The opening ceremony of the China-Laos Friendship Shield-2024 joint military exercise was held at the training ground of the Kommadam Academy of the Lao People’s Armed Forces (LPAF) in Laos on July 5.

On July 6, local time, the participating troops conducted exchanges on training subjects. As a crucial part of the adaptive training phase, the training subjects covered seven aspects, including operation of mine-clearance and explosive ordnance disposal equipment, unarmed combat, and combat wound treatment.
